I have much pleasure in presenting the annual report for 2009, in which our association marked 35 years since its foundation on 6th March, 1974. The year has been most successful, highlighted by several events.

The 10th Biennial Local Family History Conference, 'Manufacturers and Traders' of Van Diemen's Land 1820-1860 has concluded, many thanks to all those who contributed to the great success of the event. There is also a page devoted to the Hobart Town (1804) First Settlers Association Inc. Art Prize for 2009 which was held in conjunction with the Conference.

The Association held an Art Competition as part of the 10th Biennial Tasmanian Local History Conference. First Prize was $500, Second Prize was $200, and Third Prize was $100.

Note that the Hobart Town (1804) First Settlers Association Inc. Art Prize for 2009 has concluded.
